Recipe
Air fryer pumpkin feta tartlets with puff pastry and egg custard. Precook small squash cubes, cool them and bake the tartlets in two batches.
If required by the manufacturer, preheat for 3 minutes at 180 °C. Deseed squash and cut into 1 cm cubes. Roast with oil about 12 minutes at 180 °C until tender. Cool for 10 minutes.
Line moulds with pastry. Mix egg, milk, salt and pepper. Divide squash and feta, pour in custard and leave space at the rim. Use a heatproof dish suitable for the appliance, leaving space around it for airflow. Do not preheat with loose paper.
Set temperature to 160 °C. Bake two tartlets for about 18 minutes, then repeat. Keep waiting tartlets chilled.
Custard must be set and pastry baked underneath. Extend if needed, then release carefully from hot moulds. Check that the thickest part reaches at least 70 °C for 2 minutes; continue cooking if needed.
