Why this recipe works

Juicy corn with roasted areas

Fresh sweetcorn needs neither water nor foil in the air fryer. Halved cobs fit most baskets and are easier to turn. The corn is ready when the kernels are hot, juicy and browned in places; cooking it for too long makes the skin tough.

Tips for Air Fryer Corn on the Cob

Halve the corn cobs

Half pieces fit better into the basket, leave air in between and can be safely turned with a plier.

Rotate multiple

Corn is round and gets colour only on one side. Turn around every four minutes by about a quarter turn.

Do not dry out

Once the grains are hot and browned, remove them. Additional minutes make the shell more tough than crispy.
