Check the halves fit first
Check the usable basket length before purchasing. Very long zucchini cannot be bent in a short basket.
Small zucchini are cooked softly before filling. Couscous absorbs the water separately, so that the filling does not need to absorb liquid inside the vegetables.
Why this recipe works
Dry couscous would remove uncontrolled moisture from the vegetables. Here it is prepared beforehand and mixed with cooked courgette flesh. Two zucchini with about 300 g each make up four halves for two meals. Two halves are planned in each basket; the cooking time includes both pre- and both final baking batches. The length of the zucchini must fit the device.
Recipe
Four courgette halves are filled with couscous, tomato and feta. Precooking and baking are done consciously in two batches.
Halve zucchini lengthwise and scrape out some flesh, leaving a roughly 1 cm thick edge. Chop scraped pulp small and reserve all of it for the filling. Pour the couscous with the boiling water, let it absorb the water for 5 minutes, then fluff with a fork.
Heat 5 g of oil in a pan. Fry onion, garlic and chopped courgette flesh for about 5 minutes until excess liquid is evaporated. Mix with couscous, tomato and crumbled feta; salt and pepper.
Sprinkle with the remaining 5 g of oil. Preheat for 3 minutes to 180 °C if necessary. Add two halves side by side for about 8 minutes at 180 °C, then cook the second pair of halves in the same way. Cuts point upwards.
Spread filling evenly into the four soft halves. Bake again in two batches with two halves each for about 10 minutes at 180 °C. The vegetables must be soft and the filling hot everywhere; if necessary extend. Serve two boats each.

Aqueous zucchini makes the filling thin. It should be visibly drier before mixing with couscous and feta.
