Weigh only the edible fruit
Skin and hard core are not cooked. Therefore, more than 400 g of whole pineapple and weigh the prepared pulp.
Ripe pineapple is freed from shell and hard core and cut into larger pieces. The fruit is first cooked without honey, so that the sweet glaze does not burn too early.
Why this recipe works
The 400 g refers to the edible prepared pulp. Large pieces can be turned more easily than thin, fast drying slices. Fresh pineapple is used, not canned product in syrup. The amount is two fruit desserts with 50 g of yogurt each. Honey provides a thin glaze and should not cover the fruit in a thick layer.
Recipe
Fresh pineapple pieces get roasted edges. Little honey is added in the last few minutes, natural yoghurt is served cold.
Peel pineapple, remove eyes and hard core. Cut 400 g of usable pulp into pieces of about 2 to 3 cm and pat dry. Mix with oil and cinnamon.
If provided, preheat for 3 minutes to 180 °C. Add the fruit loosely in one layer to the basket and cook for about 11 minutes at 180 °C. Mix in after 6 minutes. With very small basket, plan separate batches.
Pull out the basket, spread honey on the fruit pieces and mix carefully. Cook for another 3 minutes at 180 °C. The edges must be slightly browning; dark sticky areas must not be burned any further.
Carefully spread the fruit over two bowls. Add 50 g of cold natural yoghurt each. Allow to cool a bit before eating, as the fruit juice inside can be very hot.
