Air fryer mango coconut crumble with butter crumbs. Spread ripe firm mango in a shallow dish and bake gently so coconut does not darken too fast.
Why this recipe works
Four small dessert servings from a shallow dish about 18 × 14 cm. Mango weight means flesh without peel or stone. Preparation includes 5 minutes cooling; ice cream and cream are excluded.
Recipe
Air fryer mango coconut crumble with butter crumbs. Spread ripe firm mango in a shallow dish and bake gently so coconut does not darken too fast.
Cut mango into cubes about 1.5 cm and mix with lemon juice. Spread in dish. Do not add a large amount of released fruit juice. Use a heatproof dish suitable for the appliance, leaving space around it for airflow. Do not preheat with loose paper.
Mix flour, coconut and sugar. Dice cold butter and rub into loose crumbs with fingertips. Do not knead smooth; scatter loosely over mango.
If required by the manufacturer, preheat for 3 minutes at 160 °C. Bake about 22 minutes at 160 °C. Crumbs in deeper gaps must bake through and not taste floury. If browning early, lower temperature and keep checking.
Remove with gloves and cool about 5 minutes. Spoon fruit and crumbs together. Mango stays juicy; this is not a sliceable cake.
