Air fryer taco cups with precooked minced beef, tomato sauce and Gouda. Bake tortilla halves in stable moulds for crisp, filled shells.
Why this recipe works
Three medium tortillas make six cups. Two cups are a snack portion. Bake three moulds about 8 cm across per batch; the timing includes both batches.
Recipe
Air fryer taco cups with precooked minced beef, tomato sauce and Gouda. Bake tortilla halves in stable moulds for crisp, filled shells.
Fry onion and beef in oil in a pan, breaking up the meat. Add passata, paprika, salt and pepper; cook about 10 minutes in total until thick. Check that the thickest part reaches at least 70 °C for 2 minutes; continue cooking if needed.
Halve tortillas. Press each half into a stable muffin mould with overlapping edges. Divide filling and Gouda evenly between cups. Use a heatproof dish suitable for the appliance, leaving space around it for airflow. Do not preheat with loose paper.
If required by the manufacturer, preheat for 3 minutes at 180 °C. Bake three cups at a time for about 8 minutes at 180 °C, then repeat with the second batch. Refrigerate waiting cups. Check early if edges darken.
Lift out using oven gloves. Once the moulds can be handled, gently release cups and serve with the filling hot.
