Choose similarly thick sweet potatoes
A very thick cross section extends the way of heat to the middle. Similarly narrow sweet potatoes work better for this method.
Halved sweet potatoes roast with a little oil on their cut surfaces. A yoghurt dip with lemon is already one of the indicated two light portions.
Why this recipe works
Two similarly thick tubers of about 250 g each are more evenly finished than one very wide and one narrow. The shell may remain on if it is clean and undamaged. The four halves need space next to each other in the basket. In a smaller device, additional passes are required. The recipe contains no more salad, meat and cheese.
Recipe
Two medium-sized sweet potatoes cook on the cut surface and are served with cool parsley yogurt. Its thickness is crucial, not just the weight.
Brush off sweet potatoes thoroughly, remove damaged areas and dry. Halve lengthwise, cut surfaces flat in the dish of a diamond and rub in with oil, 2 g salt and pepper.
Preheat for 3 minutes to 180 °C if necessary. Put halves in the basket with distance and cut surface down. Cook for about 20 minutes at 180 °C without stacking them.
Turn halves and cook for another 10 minutes at 180 °C. A small knife has to glide easily into the thickest center. If necessary, extend the time; large tubers can take considerably longer.
Mix yoghurt, lemon juice, parsley and remaining salt during cooking. Distribute or add separately on the finished halves. Two halves each with half of the dip give a light portion.

The pulp may be scratched, but half should remain stable. Too deep cuts make turning difficult.
