Protect the asparagus tips
The delicate tips are even faster than the lower ends. Do not press directly on very hot walls and do not cook the asparagus for an unnecessarily long time.
Green asparagus is cleaned, oiled and cooked in a loose single layer. The tips may slightly brown while the spears still retain a delicate bite.
Why this recipe works
For the specified times about 8 to 12 mm thick spears are suitable. Thin asparagus is finished earlier; especially thick spears take longer. A little olive oil coats the asparagus without soaking the tips. The amount is two small side dishes. Lemon and Parmesan only season after cooking.
Recipe
Medium-thick green asparagus spears cook briefly in the hot airflow. Lemon juice and finely grated parmesan are added.
Cut the woody ends and peel the lower third in the case of solid lower stalks. Only weigh the cleaned asparagus afterwards and pat dry.
Mix the sticks with olive oil, salt and pepper. If required by the manufacturer, preheat the air fryer for about 3 minutes to 180 °C.
Insert in a loose single layer; halve long rods if necessary. Cook for about 8 minutes at 180°C, gently turn after 4 minutes. Check especially thin tips from minute 6 onwards.
The spears should be soft enough to pierce and still have light bite. Remove from the basket, add lemon juice and parmesan and spread over two side dishes.

Woody sections are not eaten and do not belong to the 300 g. So, depending on the bunch, buy a little more.
