Use a suitable baking pan
The baking pan should support the cheese sideways and be suitable for at least 200 °C. So melted cheese does not run into the device.
The cheese is scratched on top, safely put in a suitable baking pan and heated only until its interior is soft. Bread roasts separately in the basket.
Why this recipe works
Camembert melts quickly and can leak out in case of damaged rind. A small heat-resistant baking pan therefore protects the air fryer and facilitates serving. The wooden box is not automatically suitable for any device; this guide deliberately uses ceramic or metal.
Recipe
Warm Camembert is cooked creamy in a small oven-proof baking pan and served with honey, thyme and walnuts directly from the air fryer.
Remove plastic foil, paper and labels completely. Put every camembert in a barely matching, heat-resistant ceramic or metal shape.
Cut the top with a sharp knife crosswise flat without cutting through the rind sideways.
Spread a teaspoon of honey, thyme, walnuts and some pepper on the cheese.
Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C. Carefully place the dishes in the basket and cook for 7 to 10 minutes, until the cheese feels very soft beneath the rind.
Remove the Camembert and rest it for 2 minutes. Lightly brush the baguette slices with oil and toast at 180 °C for 3 to 4 minutes.
Serve hot Camembert in the baking pan with bread and apple clefts. When opened, the cheese is very hot.
Kitchen know-how

An injured side rind opens under pressure. The flat cross above lets steam escape and holds the cheese together.
Maturity and size influence the time. After seven minutes gently press the middle and cook only at a solid centre.
