What matters
Use soft, not melted butter. It stays on the bread more easily.
Air fryer garlic bread made with a baked baguette. Spread garlic parsley butter thinly and allow for two short baking batches.
Why this recipe works
Cut a short baguette crosswise and lengthwise into four open pieces. Two fit a typical basket. Finely chop the garlic so there are no large raw chunks on the butter.
Recipe
Air fryer garlic bread made with a baked baguette. Spread garlic parsley butter thinly and allow for two short baking batches.
Halve the baguette crosswise, then split both pieces lengthwise. Check that two halves fit with space in the cold basket.
Mix soft butter with garlic, parsley and salt. Spread a thin even layer on all four cut surfaces.
If required by the manufacturer, preheat for 3 minutes at 170 °C. Bake two pieces cut-side up for about 6 minutes at 170 °C. Check from 4 minutes; the garlic must not turn dark brown.
Keep remaining pieces cool, then bake for about 6 minutes. Serve the first batch fresh. One piece makes one snack portion.
