Recipe
Air fryer chicken satay skewers with a separate peanut sauce. An easy everyday version seasoned with soy sauce and lemon juice.
Cut chicken into 2 cm pieces. Mix with oil, sugar and 10 g soy sauce and marinate in the refrigerator for 10 minutes. Do not wash raw poultry. Clean hands and utensils after handling raw meat.
Gently heat peanut butter, water, lemon and remaining soy sauce in a small pan for about 2 minutes, stirring smooth. Do not add meat marinade.
If required by the manufacturer, preheat for 3 minutes at 180 °C. Thread chicken onto four suitable skewers. Cook with gaps for about 18 minutes at 180 °C, turning after 9 minutes. Check that the thickest part reaches at least 70 °C for 2 minutes; continue cooking if needed.
Remove with clean utensils and serve with the separate sauce. Use wooden skewers only as instructed; allow any required soaking time separately.
